“Nearly everyone” in No 10 “thought Starmer should not travel to Brazil. The argument was that, in the run-up to the #Budget, the focus should be on delivery for a domestic audience”: seriously, what difference could #Starmer being away make given he’s going to leave it all to the Treasury anyway?

Some lovely wines at today’s Liberty Piemonte tasting but I was esp blown away by the Alto Piemonte wines from La Prevostura and Proprietà Sperino, and by Mura Mura, Barbaresco. Unusual and superb Garibaldi Grignolino 21 from the latter (Grignolino d’Asti) as well as gorgeous Beatrice Timorasso 22
