Great believer in karma, live and let live, love is love, not personally a fan of religion of any type but you do you friend, eternal dog mama to a gorgeous but very large GSD who passed over the Rainbow Bridge Mar 2025 🐶❤️🐶❤️🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🇬🇧
Have to say he is still utterly scrummy! Met him a year or so ago and got cuddles, I can now die happy! 😉

Fireworks going off around us and I'm anxious because it reminds me that Charlie isn't around to bark himself hoarse at them this year 😥😥😥😥 I miss him so much.

Same, we lost our dog Charlie in March & the impetus to go out for a walk has gone 😢

Present from the next door neighbours to say thanks for helping them pick up and deliver some beds on FB Marketplace. I think community is going to be vital if we're to survive the next few years, being there to help one another when our Governments don't have our best interests at heart.

Even billionaires in their bunkers will run out of food & water eventually.

Can't even remember which company this was because of the speed at which I unsubscribed after finally finding the button! This is also attempting SERIOUS magnification.

The sun & solar were kind so today's baking and cooking is below. Cooked a chicken yesterday & made stock so that's been converted into chicken & veggie soup for lunches from the freezer, sausage rolls AGAIN (child & hubby have a PROBLEM!) & chocolate muffins. Tomorrow figure out rest of chicken!

I've discovered a "done that" attitude since hitting 50, tattoos? Yep. Triple ear piercings? Yep. Pink hair? Yep. Pixie cut? Yep. (See below) Long hair? Yep. Colours? OH yep.Anyway, having it all cut tomorrow, I'll keep you up to speed. Let's not forget, it grows so what's the worst that can happen?

But here we are 5 1/2 years in & I'm bored (trust me, this is normal!) I actually got it to about 26 inches long & went back to blonde but had a chunk cut off last time. Yes, it does go that curly if I diffuse it!

In March 2020 Covid seriously hit & that chance to grow it out from the comfort of my home was wonderful! When hairdressers started again & I thought it was long enough, I went pink.
October 2, 2025 at 4:52 PM
I'm having about 12 inches cut off my hair tomorrow. I'd always wanted long hair but suffered horrendously from the in-between stage so kept getting it cut back. In Jan 2020 it looked like this after I got it dyed brown & told hairdresser I was going to give it another go.

Oh wow, that looks delicious! I managed to find a photo I took in Greece of the inspiration meal, to be fair mine was pretty close in terms of taste so Im pleased with that 😀

I've seen some seriously sneaky Unsubsribe buttons on emails in my time but this one takes the prize. This was after magnifying it enormously as well, MINISCULE typeface!

Time to stock up on the baked goods again, seeded bread, flapjacks and sultana scones, yum!

I found this beautiful pantry cupboard on Ebay at a spectacularly good price, picked it up today & I love it, can't wait to fill it with all my preserving/canning/dehydrator stuff & herbs & spices!

There isn't really a non UK equivalent except maybe damsons, a small plum? They grow wild in UK & I've really enjoyed foraging for sloes, blackberries, rosehip out in the fields my mum has in the New Forest, that's a National Park in UK

Canned plums, aren't they just a gorgeous colour? 😊

I love these sort of pictures, this was about 6am one autumn morning years ago whilst walking the dog.

Branch from our Victoria plum tree came down on the neighbours side yesterday and they kindly delivered us the not yet ripened plums back to us. ONE branch. I can see why it gave up the ghost!
