uhhhh… how are our other lagging economic indicators doing right now?

newest layer of my “to read” pile features HOX/POX and some non-fiction about pre-colonial Philippines

I owned copies of Alex + Ada (Jonathan Luna, Sarah Vaughn) because the simple visual grammar and adult storyline (sci-fi + romance) make it an easy starting place for adults who feel like they don’t know ::how:: to read comics. Again, I never loaned this series out so it’s been deposited at my LCS

This stack (original Bendis run on Ultimate Spider-Man) was a great read when I first got into comics - but I haven’t touched them in nearly 10 years. Just sort of assumed I would loaning books to my friends more often.

Dropped them off at an LCS this weekend, next reader is going to love them 💛

My words might be understating my enthusiasm for the art, I have a print of the issue 6 cover framed, hanging above my bed. Laura Martin signed it for me 😊
