Damn, it's gonna take me a minute to stop calling her by her maiden name, Lynn Laugh Leg Sleeve.

Rings of Power (season 2)

I’m blissfully unaware of any online discourse and just having a great time watching this beautifully shot show. The way they made Tom Bombadil not annoying yet still captured his essence is, IMO, genuinely one of the greatest achievements in book-to-film adaptation. 5/5

Fallout

I don’t have much to say about this one; I just thought it was fantastic. 4/5

Wheel of Time (season 2)

If this show were terrible, I’d still watch it for Rosamund Pike and her gorgeous costumes in this. But it’s not terrible. It’s great! Lucky me. 3/5

From (seasons 1 to 3)

I don’t usually do horror, and this is right at the limit of what I can handle. Season 1 was chef’s kiss; seasons 2 and 3 weren’t perfect, but I am INVESTED in this creepy little town and every character in it. 2/5

Octavia E. Butler, Parable of the Sower.

This climate dystopia hits pretty close to home in 2024. Reading it was both comforting and unsettling.

Gigi Griffis, We Are the Beasts.

Women support women while a beast terrorizes eighteenth-century rural France. Love.

Samantha Allen, Patricia Wants to Cuddle.

She just wants to cuddle! This book was weird, queer, and great.

Books:

Piers Paul Read, Alive.

I love a wilderness survival story, I REALLY love a mountain wilderness survival story, and I can’t get enough of this story in particular. I can see why this book is a classic of the genre.

Why did I wait 38 years to use a drill. So competent. So powerful. Drilling my dainty little pilot holes.

Ok but why was the inspiration for Man City's jersey font "community newsletter"?
