One time I genuinely heard someone say that people were less homophobic in the 2000s and I was like "we had to invent an entire separate word to describe straight men who gave a shit about their appearance to let people know they weren't gay." Not to mention all the, you know, actual hate crimes.

acclimating.

there's a tournament there on Wednesday. that's structure. a reason to be there. hell, it's only a buck so I could even enter.

yeah I could do that. would be cool to grab something to eat there too but the timing is a bit off for that.

My counselor is very nice to me and patient with me but like
I wish he counted online calls with strangers as social exposure.
I already feel nervous about those and it's very easy to dip and retreat to a safe zone if I need to.
I don't wanna jump into the deep end...I need to acclimate first :<

I think I just lack the motivation.
There's nothing particular there I'm itching to try.
It's all just an excuse to Go Outside In a Social Environment
It's supposed to be homework for my counseling (and hygiene)
Just wish I had more of an idea of what I want to do there before I go.
