Somewhat inconvenient that the verify links are valid for 24h considering this.

Most things that the driver software gives you are either
1) Just a part of the desktop environment's tools
2) Integrated to the various tools like MangoHud, Proton, etc. and potentially need editing a config file or environment variables
3) Plain not available at all because the vendors don't care

Oh and I have to say the Nvidia issues were pretty surprising to me considering I as a Linux user had much fewer issues with Nvidia than I had with AMD, but could be Bazzite vs CachyOS + Cachy's optimized Proton and that I never wasted time on linux native versions.

Good start, though as a quick note - a lot of your charts say "Win11" in the specs section while the chart title says "Linux (Bazzite)"

Personally I think it would've been more interesting to see generational differences than e.g. every 50 series card listed, but as said, it's a start.

Brilliant test, written by the same kind of geniuses that made me hate school.

"How much SHOULD the minimum thread depth be in a winter tire?" -> Completely up to the person answering to give their opinion.

"How much IS the minimum thread depth of a winter tire?" -> 3.0mm

Whoah, you'll never guess what banks do to companies. Payment processors, be them banks, or online payment processors, generally have extremely strong and often fanatically religious rules on what they allow.

If you don't use them, you end up on fringe providers and banks, which have many issues.

Gotta love the specific and clear language used there.

"Defending your nation"? Name a war the U.S. has defended itself in, on their own soil, where they were attacked, in the last .. say 50 years?

I don't think you can claim unprovoked aggressive pointless religious wars fought on foreign soil are "defensive".

Yeah, because copyright theft will stop at megacorporations.

Yeah ... the copyrighted trailer

Dammit I thought Bluesky was the better option. Sigh.
May 27, 2025 at 8:32 AM
You understood fine. I don't want to waste my time on services expecting me to spend manual effort to go and download them from some webapp every time I need them for my accounting instead of providing them using very standard PDFs attached to emails, so I'll consider the other options instead.

Hey April Fools is still a few hours away, not funny.

Wasteful morons are already eating "all they can eat" instead of what they need.
December 29, 2024 at 9:14 PM
You don't think the actual "all you can eat" gluttony and gorging on piles of food you don't need to eat is a problem at all, only the potential waste?
