I've just noticed that `cursor-style` setting requires `shell-integration-features = no-cursor` according to the docs

that gave me a block cursor, BUT only after a ghostty restart.
reloading the config with <kbd>cmd-shift-,</kbd> wasn't sufficient

after the 1st 1-2 hours of use, all i had to add was
```
theme = dark:rose-pine-moon,light:rose-pine-dawn
cursor-style = block
selection-invert-fg-bg
```

though `cursor-style = block` doesn't seem to do anything

in `rose-pine-dawn` theme selection was invisible, hence the `selection-invert-fg-bg`

I wrote a simple double-nested FOR loop in BASIC to fill the screen. It stopped after filling 2/3rd of the screen with an "Out of memory" error :D because it shared the video RAM with the BASIC program's RAM

These days however a single, true-color (8-bit depth) picture of a GUI OS requires 3840 * 2160 * 3 = 24 883 200 ~24Mbyte of RAM, so that's one legit reason why current programs are more demanding. In the light of that, 200MB browser tabs doesn't look that bad actually :)

I was also pondering just yesterday, whether should I switch or not, so I watched this video on the topic:

I was thinking about the same question literally yesterday.

I found the answer here:

Today I signed up to bsky finally and within a couple of minutes I found this post, while searching for TrueNAS :)
