We were accompanied by a friend who had done guided tours in the Prado for many years. She made us walk up to this painting with our eyes closed, put us on the right spot and only then told us to look. Hit like a ton of bricks.

Rogier van der Weijden was a genius. I saw the Descent from the cross in the Prado museum last year, also an amazing painting that looks and feels as fresh as the day it was painted.

I can only assume that icehole is a well chosen euphemism.. Otoh - I am a Dutchman, but I follow American politics closely because of the worldwide impact. Joe Walsh is one of those people that gives me trust that things can change for the better.
