Cyanotype toning: top image is straight up. Bottom image toned in coffee for 30 minutes. Both printed on Hannemühle Platinum Rag.

Bottom print was not bleached before toning. I’m mildly ok with the amount of paper staining, given the deep navy outcome. Not wild about the contrast on these overall.

Visiting West Virginia this weekend, I was thinking of time, perspective, and safety. The strip of cabins illuminated against the night remind me of how narrow our habitable range really is. We're never as safe as we hope.

But is using Sigma's software to convert them an unnecessary hassle? Also yes.
But are the resulting images worth it? Sadly...yes.
