She's here! During July, August, and September, we will have this pretty lady on display in the museum. The black widow spider is our only LIVE specimen at the May Museum. Come visit her and the rest of our 7,000 insects!

The day after the 4th is National Graham Cracker Day?! Coincidence? I THINK NOT!! Not many things go better together than a graham cracker, marshmallows, and chocolate! Oh yeah, and a campfire at the @goldeneagle.campground! We have all the fixings in our gift shop.

1. It's the females that bite.
2. Their mouths are like saws, so they cut instead of making a hole. Ouch!
3. They're one of the largest in the world. What a great excuse to wear a fabulous spider hat!

Happy Earth Day! What did you do today to show love to Mother Earth? I enjoyed lots of sunshine at The Golden Eagle Campground. Got my feet in some mountain dirt, enjoyed the fishing lake, and even hiked up a mountain to check out the spectacular views!
