Afscheid nemen van de kerk in zijn huidige gedaante. Ze wordt gerestaureerd maaar omgevormd tot een supermarkt met een wijnbar. De laatste keer dat ik hier was , was voor een begrafenis.

Not far, eastwards, from Ghent is located the castle of Laarne. A prime example of a late medieval defensive castle surrounded by a moat. Altered during later times to accommodate comfortable housing. The castle houses an important silver collection.

The Musée Condé, located in the magnificent Chateau de Chantilly, north of Paris has a very nice collection of paintings, once collected by the Duc d'Aumale during yhe 19th century. Here one of the galleries.
