Walked to the bank to find it "exceptionally closed today" 😩

Swung by the #littlefreelibrary instead, and hit the JACKPOT.

Somebody left a TON of #DVDs.

I got so excited about the Artificial Eye ones, I didn't notice the massive pile on the lower shelf!

A shelf inside a little free library. Sandwiched between books in French are some DVDs, mostly English language. About half are romance movies (meh), but the rest are independent / art house films, including some teal and grey Artificial Eye titles that grabbed my attention. DVD haul spread out on a table, viewed from above. Mix of English and Polish titled, covering indie film, historical romance, and action movies.

It's snowed again, but wet and slushy.

Going to buy groceries yesterday involved a lot of sliding, balancing..

Today it's wet slush sandwich - with ice underneath.. 🫠

My long-legged gazelle creature for #wolfwednesday

It snowed all day, I finally got to use the "good" snow boots bought on sale 3yrs ago, and languishing in a box ever since..

Not very far though. Didn't feel well, don't overdo it.

Darcy was extremely nervous and shy, and slapped/hissed at everything that moved for about a year.

His friend (who I brought home as well) was very outgoing and friendly.

Naturally we called them Darcy and Bingley.

This is Mr Darcy! I spotted him under a car in 2022, and became just a *little* obsessed.

Asked around, no owner / feral cat. Got permission to try and trap him.

That took 6 months. In the process 2 other feral cats came home as well 😅 Then 2 more (his sister's kittens).

More Wolf Moon. She is *incredibly* good at standing still now, if there's a treat at the end..

Turns out The Boy is A Master Manipulator.

Oh no! I'm going to pretend to ignore my beloved wet food, so you open Tuna.

Then, I shall hide the socks you put down for a moment, and now cannot find.. (under my butt)

Wolfdog under a waxing moon. She unfortunately decided to raise a leg and pee at the exact moment I took the photo, her large face filling the screen, leg blurred in the raising. Her opinion and appropriate reaction to 2025 I guess.. The lihgting is soft and desaturated, reflecting the late evening, fading light ,and the dead bare plants drained of colour.
