Miles clearly wanted this game after what happened last time she was in Reynolds, as she motions to the Wolfpack crowd, telling them to bring it on and to her ear as the buzzer sounds.

No. 17 TCU does it, winning 69-59 over No. 10 NC State behind 26 from Marta Suárez, one off her career high.

NCSU's Trygger and TCU's Miles each score 15 to come up second.

Miles also finishes with 14 rebounds.

62-50, TCU at the 4Q media.

It's been the two players NC State is familiar with, Suárez and Miles, doing the most damage to them today. The two have combined for 37 of TCU's 62.

Apparently someone read my last post and took it personally (kidding, obviously).

NC State on an 8-0 run to open the quarter. Pierre has 6/8.
November 16, 2025 at 7:23 PM
Now a 30-9 TCU run since that 3:07 mark.

NC State is missing bunnies & didn't score a FG for the final 3 minutes of the frame.

TCU up 16 after 3, 56-40.

Suárez still leading all scorers with 20, Trygger has 12 to lead NCSU.

Olivia Miles has a 13pt/10r/5a stat line through 3 for the Horned Frogs.

Suárez is now 1 away from her career-high in 3FGM, set against Auburn when she was at Cal.
November 16, 2025 at 7:07 PM
TCU definitely got a lecture on their defensive intensity at halftime, because they've turned it all the way up.

They're also on a 20-5 run since the 3:07 mark of the 2nd quarter.

Horned Frogs up 10 at the 3Q media, 46-36.
November 16, 2025 at 7:05 PM
Suárez is the only player on either side in double figures with 15.
November 16, 2025 at 6:48 PM
Probably not.

What I said was essentially the gist, plus the obvious, it's a great/power 5 matchup.

Ivey also touched on it postgame: www.youtube.com/watch?v=AAO1...

TCU takes the lead back going into the break, 36-31, thanks to a 10-0 run, with six of those coming on a pair of Marta Suárez 3s.

I do have Niele's comments on this from Tipoff, I can try to dig them up at half.

IIRC, gist was they try to move the Shamrock game around (it was technically an ND home game), Detroit made sense cuz of Jaden & big upper Midwest/Canada contingent on the team.

IDK if the teams were sleepy or what, but this has been a much better quarter of basketball, especially shooting-wise

Teams were a combined 10/40 from the field in the first quarter, they're 13/20 so far this quarter

31-26, NC State, at the 2Q media
November 16, 2025 at 6:34 PM
We're tied. Reynolds is LOUD.
November 16, 2025 at 6:29 PM
Not a good shooting start for NC State, then TCU closed on a poor run, including throwing it out of bounds with 0.9 on the clock, just enough time for Zoe Brooks to dish to Tilda Trygger, who made the jumper. We'll see if the Wolfpack can take that momentum & run with it.

15-13, TCU after 1
November 16, 2025 at 6:25 PM
Fans and players both already frustrated with the refs, so that should be fun.
November 16, 2025 at 6:16 PM
This is... not exactly giving top-20 basketball so far, especially on the part of the Wolfpack. NC State is 2/16 at the 1Q media, while TCU is 4/13.

11-5, Horned Frogs
