I really do think he lost the 2016 election too. 2020 voters absolutely knew what he was going to do and voted for him anyway. It was racism and misogyny they voted for, plain and simple.

I will be furious forever that he was elected again. They knew what they were voting for: racism, misogyny, and sheer stupidity. It will take generations to fix what they've broken.

Yes. I have a feeling our descendants will be studying why so few children and 40-60 year old people died from 1950 to 2020. I hope history records the sheer stupidity of the past few years. We came so so far, and now that progress is just...gone.

The damage that has been (and continues to be) done to public health is incalculable. It will take generations to fix, if it ever is.

My kids' pediatrician told me the same thing. Sadly, I think we are going to see that suffering again. I just hope people learn sooner rather than later.

I dont trust any republican to fulfill their promises. I will not vote for any democrat who votes yes without a full restoration of ACA subsidies. The Republicans can open the government without any democrat votes, this shutdown is completely their fault and they need to own it.

Great thread 🧵🪡! For the people saying make it yourself...fabric is $$, a sewing machine is $$$, needles/thread/ scissors/tools are $$, and even patterns are $. Also there is a worldwide cotton shortage right now (climate change), and supply chains are a mess. Good luck. Also, tariffs! Ugh!!
