Can't tell if I'm getting smarter (what my dog thinks), everyone else is getting dumber (what I think), or if I'm just a raging narcissist (what my family thinks).
They will. See if you can get off this thing long enough to yourself, loser.

My parents are conservative, MAGA voters. They literally only think Trump is worth it economically and have been wavering on this for obvious reasons. They were enthralled by this. They watched. And listened. For hours. This mattered more than younger folks realize.

Short of Pat McAfee doing an extensive on air apology, I expect they will.

Don't bother, forget money, it's the time lost to that film that's the real crime
April 1, 2025 at 6:48 PM
As opposed to the guy in the Twister sequel/reboot??? Stop it.
April 1, 2025 at 6:42 PM
The criticism against him to me sound an awful lot like "I have no good ideas myself... but I don't like his!" My parents (Trumpers) don't know anything about anything other than "Trump economy good"... they're enthralled by what Booker is doing. They're watching him. That matters.

Why does she look hung over?
April 1, 2025 at 4:28 PM
It's almost like idiot Philly fans can't handle my option and keep attacking me like children. Shocking development from such a classy group.
April 1, 2025 at 4:27 PM
It is not a QB sneak variation. I'm sorry, it's not. You just think it is because the QB keeps the ball. Again, Jason Kelce... you know, the guy who RAN THE FUCKING PLAY? He was very clear on this: it wrecks your body. I guess fuck him though, right?
April 1, 2025 at 3:26 PM
Wow. Way to live up to the piece of shit Philly fan moniker. The dude literally at the center of the play is telling you it wrecked his body, and you're basically like, "... but did he die? No. Then he can stfu."
April 1, 2025 at 3:14 PM
Hilarious you assume that they're capable of pulling it off the way you envision it. These guys literally couldn't get the wifi to work on radio row during the superbowl. But yeah, I'm sure they'll have seamless replay assist. God knows their other replay process is smooth like butta. Come on, man.
April 1, 2025 at 2:28 PM
Booker is a good man. Kinda vanilla, but a good doobie. Doesn't get enough credit.
April 1, 2025 at 2:22 PM
Yes. Replay won't stop bad calls from happening, and often don't fix the truly egregious ones. Refs back refs, even if they're 1000 miles away in front of a screen. Just look at the PI challenge experiment. Refs refused to cooperate w the process, then it went away. We need less replay, not more.

Ties can make the end of the season more interesting. Plus the whole "both teams get a chance" thing has been a long time coming.
April 1, 2025 at 2:16 PM
Sure it will...
April 1, 2025 at 2:09 PM
From what I saw, they were riffing (which is like a solid 60% of their show typically), and one of the cohosts brought it up. The guest didn't follow, so they broke down the entire rumor for him on air like it was fact. Basically, everything ESPN brass feared might happen when they hired him.
April 1, 2025 at 2:08 PM
Games just got 8 minutes longer
April 1, 2025 at 1:46 PM
Again, not true. Most major injuries occur when there is no contact (non-contact injury) or one of the players isn't moving at all. Also, the tush push is not a QB sneak. Totally different play.
April 1, 2025 at 1:45 PM
They've run about 10,000 total plays over that same span. Again, 1% is not enough data to asses risk.
April 1, 2025 at 1:33 PM
No, that's not correct, because you're using multiple forces to push in multiple directions with the pushed object being a human body. Fuck it, nevermind. I'm not arguing data analysis and physics with a bunch of Philly fans. Do whatever you want. Just don't cry when Hurts is done for the year.
April 1, 2025 at 1:32 PM
No, do what you want, just understand that the "where's the data" argument is stupid. It's just not how data analysis works. It's like this: if 1 player DOES get hurt 1 time next season... statistically speaking, that means the tush push is mathematically the most dangerous play in football.
April 1, 2025 at 1:29 PM
People who ask "wheres the data" on a play run 25 times last year are people who don't understand how data analysis works. It's Ron Burgundy shit. NFL teams run an average of 3,060 plays per season (assuming they make the playoffs like the Eagles did). You can't do data analysis on risk off of 0.8%.
April 1, 2025 at 1:22 PM
See above
April 1, 2025 at 1:10 PM
Because I've heard the same two talking points from every Philly fans in America: "where's the data" and "this is football". Heard the same with helmet to helmet hits 15 years ago from PIT fans. Watching the film, 2 things are clear:

1. It's not a football play.
2. The QB will eventually get hurt.
