HEDGEHOG OF THE DAY 🏆 Rose, a very elderly hedgehog on her 3rd time here! She was found by a finder so prolific that she & Steph (our boss) have become good friends. Rose had lots of problems but has just finished medications so she will soon be going to her 5 star accommodation under the bush!!🥰🦔

HEDGEHOG OF THE DAY🏆! This is Bon Bon who self-presented, this is when a wild hedgehog visits the rescue themselves when they’re not feeling well! She had roundworm, lungworm & a chest infection! She’s a returning patient who is now getting on in years and will hopefully be released this week!🥰🦔

HEDGEHOG OF THE DAY 🏆is Pickle McNuggett, she was found in the same place as our BluTak by the same finder and she’s worried that she won’t get as many likes as her! She weighs 330g. Sadly she has 3 parasites, lungworm, roundworm & fluke which causes hyperactivity so she makes a real mess! 🥰🦔

HEDGEHOG OF THE DAY 🏆 Hestor is a returning customer to us and our friends at the Hedgehoggery in Shipley. She’s an older lady with both lungworm and roundworm. Because of her age, her medicine is taking a little longer to work but she’s fallen in love with her heatpad so she’s in no rush!🥰🦔

HEDGEHOG OF THE DAY🏆 This is Mavis of Morris & Mavis. She’s smaller than him because of an infection. Mavis is 865 grams her brother is already over 1kg! Mavis had the same skin condition but they're making a good recovery. 🦔

HEDGEHOG OF THE DAY🏆! Ernie’s the fastest hedgehog in the west! A wee reminder hedgehog fans that hedgehogs can’t have milk as they’re lactose intolerant! This is Ernie’s 2nd visit, on arrival he had a dodgy eye and roundworm, all being well he’ll soon be able to float back out into the wild!

We’re pretty sure that she has been attacked by a dog or a fox…..Janine has been a warrior and needs us all to let her know!
