went to the scottish highland games, had a camera issue i figured out later so didn't get to take as many photos as i wanted
a black and white photo of 3 men from behind. the man in the center is wearing whatever those scottish berets are called and has a strap slung over his shoulder crossing his back. the other two men are in kilts with hats of varying levels of scottishness. the two men in the right are saluting. the old man's hair is kind of rustling in the breeze and the background is lighter than the foreground, giving a nice glow to the edges of his hair and letting the figures in the foreground stand out. a black and white photo of some sheep partially obscured in shadow, with a matte finish. one sheeps face is lit up peering over the ass of another sheep. there's a row of partially obscured but visibly fluffy sheep butts. the bottom of the photo is mostly shadow while the top is mostly lighter an action shot of two men in medieval attire and fencing swords and bucklers fighting. the man ont he right is wearing black with a red shield with a patternin gold, a red kilt, and red and grey leg armor. he's got his arm up and his sword horizontal to block the strike. he's bending his right knee to get under it. the other guy on the left got caught looking like he's leaning over on his tippie toes. he's in a shiny tin can setup and has a plain red shield. the same two knights as before, this time with the black guy int he red kilt on the left. he's again kneeling and has his left arm with his shield raised up while his right arm was going for a low strike and is being deflected by the other guys shield. the guy on the right has his buckler very low to deflect the incoming strike, and arm is pulled back with his blade pointed straight at the black knights heart, the point of the blade aimed directly between their two shields.

never photographed a cave before pleasantly surprised at some of the results
a photo of the inside of a cave - a streak of light illuminates a small section of cave, stretching from a thin sliver at the bottom right to a wider beam at the top left. portions of the cave roof are visible. deep in the distance near the bottom right you can see red light further down the cave. this is intended to be a bit abstract and to highlight the shape carved by the light.

a photo of a cave formation from the ruby falls cave at lookout mountain in tennessee called the elephants foot. it's photographed here from underneath, so you can only see the footpad with the rest of the "foot" disappearing into the surrounding rock, but basically when viewed from other angles it's a rock formation that strongly resembles the shape of an elephants foot
