I used to do foh sound for a folk band. They covered Beeswing, and every night you could hear a pin drop in the crowd. Such a great song.

Affinity is a good drop in replacement for about 95% of the people that use Photoshop, imo. I'm trying out Nitro as a Lightroom replacement, and it's not bad at all. It's a young app, but does what I need, so far.

Affinity Photo on the iPad is quite good. I flip between that, and the older version of Photomator (haven't upgraded yet)

Of course a magazine like Time would come up with such a boring, no effort list. How many of those are made by people with an already established media presence (or at least work in the field)?

Yep. OBS if you want bells and whistles, but if you're just looking to send the stream to a distribution service, this is a more bare bones option.

I took the harbour ferry home one January afternoon, and it was filled with just enough unbearable people that I went outside on the top deck. It was somewhere around -10C, with driving wind, and still much better than inside.

That's like friends or family saying, 'You work in IT, what's wrong with my computer?", and they try to hand you a crusty decade old laptop that should be tossed in a compacter :)
