I've been lurking this season so far, but I needed to say this.
Okay, I need to get this off my mind in regards to the Eddie and Abuela scene after attending Wednesday mass. Many of you are misinterpreting that whole scene for the sake of Buddie and it's irking me enough to write and share this. As a Buddie shipper, I would love for it to actually be about them, but it wasn't. Abuela: What is love if not a sign of God's presence? Eddie: So when I was looking for him [God] in the church... Abuela: Mi niño, you were looking in the wrong place. She was not telling Eddie he was looking for love in the wrong places. She told him he was looking for God in the wrong places. Instead of looking for Him in the church, look for Him in you heart, emotions, family, friends, the every day things, etc.

I now have a new "longest fic I ever read" and I read it all in two days. 🤪 I absolutely loved it, highly recommend, but maybe pace yourself if you give it a go.

406k for a different fandom is still the longest fic I've read, but for 911 / Buddie, this is the longest, and currently my favorite time travel fic.
Fanfic: Buck in Time by thea_zara on AO3. Evan Buckley has gone back in time, and he didn't even get a cool DeLorean.

I don't want Buck sad over T either, but keep in mind that this was his first queer relationship & the first that he felt like everything was going right. T dashed all of that. Let Buck mourn so he can eventually move on to the relationship most of us are hoping for as endgame.
