Make that 8

Seems more like OKC is pulling a repeat of game 1. Should be up more than 11

The No rim protection thing is the big one for me. The current level of OKC’s play is maybe the best I’ve ever seen them. If they play like this, I don’t really see them losing a 7 game series

I’m a bit scared of the Lakers. I feel like for years our biggest under the radar flaw is the lack of perimeter size. Something the lakers have in spades

Seems really unlikely that Mitchell would get minutes in the postseason.
March 27, 2025 at 8:43 PM
They were still figuring out their old roster too
February 22, 2025 at 5:34 PM
And now their pick gets even better. Gonna be very easy to tank now.

Got more than a week for everyone to get healthy after tonight. Would love to see the whole squad on the floor (minus Mitchell). Poor Utah
February 13, 2025 at 7:56 PM
There’s gonna be such a strange lack of urgency for them, since the West is all but wrapped up.
February 13, 2025 at 7:39 PM
Oop
February 11, 2025 at 5:10 PM
I don’t recall it being that harsh. Maybe I’m remembering it wrong, but I thought he said something like it was a bit of an overpay
February 11, 2025 at 4:46 PM
And then the wiz dropped a 23-5 run
February 11, 2025 at 12:51 AM
If Jwill gets any postseason minutes, I riot. Kenrich is 10th.
February 6, 2025 at 8:58 PM
Phoenix hit one shot in that quarter. One.
February 6, 2025 at 4:32 AM
Now I’m thinking the latter might be a possibility
February 6, 2025 at 4:10 AM
I can’t say I have a ton of faith in the former happening
February 6, 2025 at 3:51 AM
He certainly didn’t last year. I don’t see how anyone can go into the postseason feeling comfortable about the non-Shai minutes
February 6, 2025 at 3:38 AM
Also important: we want the nets to lose, so they don’t catch Philly.
January 19, 2025 at 5:36 PM
I’d say no. Haven’t gotten a chance to read the column yet. That said, while his defense has been all NBA level, his offense has taken a step back. 2pt and 3pt % have cratered, especially over the last 20 games. OKC is gonna need a lot more from his half court offense in the postseason.
January 16, 2025 at 3:19 PM
If the suns and spurs play .500 the rest of the way, the pels would have to go 33-9. Obviously it’s hard to tank on the court, but their season is over. Would behoove them to get as juicy of a pick as possible
January 14, 2025 at 6:05 PM
One could argue they do need this. They have no chance of making the play in, so might as well lose as many games as possible and gun for a top 5-7 pick
January 14, 2025 at 3:43 PM
I just can’t believe that won’t come in to play at some point.
January 14, 2025 at 3:41 PM
Wonder what they do when Smith comes back
January 14, 2025 at 3:25 AM
Yeah fr. I know the Heat are the Heat, but I’ll roll the dice on an unprotected 2026 pick, vs a pick in the 15-17 range this year
January 4, 2025 at 12:47 PM
Which would present an interesting scenario. If they make the play in, but lose, the pick automatically moves to 2026.
