Another way to look at is chamberlain was buying time. In March 1936 Germany began remilitarizing and Baldwin did nothing. So Chamberlain continuing the British policy of appeasement and building up British forces means that he is a bit maligned falsely. Right now the EU is doing the same and

Nothing was stopping investment and increased military presence there. Page 222 of Project 2025 concerns greenland, but "Gift-Eaters" don't settle for things that aren't a part of quid-pro-quo.

I've come to terms that as long as the general populace is fed and happy the structure of the government is irrelevant. The powers that be love democracy because it allows upward mobility without having loyalty to the state.

A presidential pardon is kind of ridiculous anyway because it assumes that either they have details the police, investigators, lawyers, judge, and jury didn't, or they do and decide to override the public's will anyway.

rather than saying you reasoned it out. Works the same way for oracles, divination, prophecy, and so forth. Hesiod also points to the stars, but as proper times for harvesting and planting. Cheat codes as it were and you can roll them into the religion so it's easy to pass down.

This isn't really supported by modern scholarship, but I suspect that astrology was a guise for control and wisdom, like Hesiod writes about the Gods but he's really writing about something else. If you are dealing with a superstitious society, it's much easier to say the stars tell you something-

You should do what nature intended then. kill for yourself what you want to eat. Do it, however, only through your own resources, unaided by weapons. Tear into it with your teeth and don't alter it by cooking or flavoring. Until then I must disregard your opinions as worthless.
