I'm a Fall of Civilizations @fallofcivspod.bsky.social voice actor! In fact, I deliver the first and last readings you'll hear during The Mongols: Terror of the Steppe. I'm unbelievably chuffed to be part of one of my favourite podcasts. Huge thanks to @paulmmcooper.bsky.social for giving me a shot!
Forget the Arc Raiders fans, it's the Peak community that The Game Awards should really be scared of. They're cannibals!

Very proud to have once again provided VO for this wonderful series (even if I havent yet had time to listen to all 5 and a half hours!)

With this as well as Persian Fire and Persians: Age of the Great Kings on my bookshelf, the end of the year is looking rather Archaemenid heavy 😅
⛰️🏔️ Episode 20 is now live! 🏔️⛰️

In this episode, we look at the amazing story of the Achaemenid Persian Empire.

Find out how the world's largest empire rose, flourished, and finally fell in ash and flame.

I have been recovering from surgery and today my brain said: Hey, you like Dark Souls right? Here's a migraine on top of that.

There's an inherent eerieness to a vacant yet clearly occupied space. Gone Home triggered this a touch back in the day, but Blue Prince leans more with its narrative and the question of what, exactly, lies beyond each new door. That said, the greenhouse was lovely.

Not sure I've ever squealed so loud in a CS game. Probably for the best my mic wasn't on record.

I continue to hound the @restart.run team with inane questions such that I can one day steal their identities and fame. This week? Finding out what really gets under their skin... www.restart.run/articles/wha...
What’s the Most Scared You’ve Been in a Game? | Restart
Halloween is growing near, which means it's time for the Restart team to relive their greatest fears! Most of which, shockingly, prove that we're ancient beings close to crumbling into dust.

Battlefield 6 marks a glorious return to form for the grand-scale shooter and brings some brilliant new additions, but more support is needed to maximize its potential.

I reviewed Battlefield 6 for @restart.run! It really feels like a return to form with some great new modes and a focus on making the core elements as gratifying as possible, but it desperately needs more maps that deliver the full-scale experience. www.restart.run/articles/bat...

Utterly baffling response. Police waste time making pointless arrests at peaceful protest, so the logic is to make more peaceful protests an arrestable offence. Going to be abused further, too.

Police to get broader powers to crack down on repeated protests
The move is not a ban on protests but "about restrictions and conditions", Shabana Mahmood tells the BBC.
