Just started playing Wanted: Dead, everyone said it's terrible, but damn, why do I fw it so hard, lol!? It's jank af, and sometimes feels like a fever dream, but I kinda dig it! It had a full-on shmup game in it that was great! The music is good and the combat is fun! I like it!😅

Decided to play Shenmue 1 recently, been really enjoying it! I've only ever played the 2nd one back in the day on the OG Xbox as a kid. I really dig the chill vibes and mystery of this game!

Just watched City Hunter: Angel Dust. It was pretty good, but the quality of this release is a bit lacking. There is no dub like the previous film, and the subs don't flow so easily, with dialog feeling stilted and a few typos as well. Mokkori being translated as peach is weird.

Back to my Sonny Chiba collection, this time, I watched the Bodyguard Kiba duology. The first one is okay, didn't really vibe with either the characters or story. The sequel, however, I think is WAY better! Much better characterization and motivation, a few good musical pieces too.

Just watched the Black Society Trilogy by Takashi Miike and really enjoyed these movies! All three were very different from each other but did a great job portraying the ugly, violent, and tragic world of the criminal underworld and those trapped within or around it. Good movies!

My obsession with Japanese cinema continues! Got the first volume of the Sonny Chiba collection and am loving the movies in it! Watched Detonation! Violent Riders. Excellent film! And another Takashi Miike trilogy, the Black Society Trilogy. Haven't had the chance to watch it yet.

My obsession with Japanese cinema continues! Got the first volume of the Sonny Chiba collection and am loving the movies in it! Watched Detonation! Violent Riders. Excellent film! And another Takashi Miike trilogy, the Black Society Trilogy. Haven't had the chance to watch it yet.
Been wanting to get more into Japanese cinema lately. Watched these ones and had a blast with all of them! The long, one shot, action scenes from The Game trilogy were great, the Lady Snowblood duology was fantastic, and The Dead or Alive trilogy were all very different but good!

Doggie Kruger/Deka Master is so fucking cool! I love Ultraman Zero, and especially his dynamic with Leito Igaguri in Ultraman Geed. I love the cast in the Zeiram movies. Is it cheating to say Cutie Honey? Who doesn't love Cutie Honey? Every iteration of Honey is the best!

I remember watching Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog as a kid! I had some of the toys. The toy of Ivar was weird because it was some random white guy when the actor was clearly black. They probably made the toys before casting the actors in all likelihood.
