Watched HOOK for the first time. I think it would've been better if Captain Hook's sidekick were songwriter Lyle Rogers and the two dragged Peter Pan back to Neverland in order to help them write a good song for the upcoming open mic night

One more sleep till A MINECRAFT MOVIE. I can't imagine sleeping because I'm so stoked. I'm ready for the cinematic experience of a lifetime.

CURTIS MAYFIELD DOC: Really found this to be as standard and uninsightful as possible from H.E.R. But I definitely related on a profound level to Dr. Dre thinking a Curtis Mayfield lyric said one thing but in reality was something entirely different and he hadn't realized this for years.

MICKEY 17: Set aside the impossible task of trying to follow up a film like PARASITE, I came away a little perplexed. It’s almost a case of having seen this movie. But Robert Pattinson is one of our great movie stars. No question about that.

WE ARE STORROR: What will one do for art? A movie that’s less about how cool and awesome this parkour group is and more about how they can’t do these death-defying stunts forever and what exactly parkour is. The stunts, especially the failed ones, send shivers down my spine.

FRIENDSHIP: Truly the best comedy in years. Tim Robinson is a comedic gem and Paul Rudd serves as the perfect foil. I laughed an uncomfortable amount. We are lucky to be alive in the age of Tim Robinson.

THE TREE OF LIFE affected me profoundly. I cried during it and was kinda stunned that I did. Malick shows us what cinema can be. God (or whatever Malick thinks God is) bless him for it.

I know the Golden Globes aren't a perfect indicator for the Oscars. But if EMILIA PEREZ wins a ton of awards at the Academy Awards, I might lose my mind more than the time Brian replaced Peter's I Can't Believe It's Not Butter with real butter.
