Most of the time it is just a style choice. When you are trying to parrot a film I also imagine it’s easier to make certain animations and effects look good at lower framerates

You should also try out the latest version of DLSS on it. The transformer model looked quite good on it when I swapped it out

They definitely do not always cook. Their ports usually end up okay, but almost always launch buggy and messy
