My greatest fear right now is writing my rent check, sending it to my landlord to deposit on the 1st of the month only to have my Social Security check that is supposed to be deposited to cover it mysteriously not appear in my account.

My greatest fear right now is writing my rent check, sending it to my landlord to deposit on the 1st of the month only to have my Social Security check that is supposed to be deposited to cover it mysteriously not appear in my account.
Mostly due to the tax cuts for the rich by Reagan, Bush and Trump. We now know their promises of "trickle-down" economics absolutely don't work. They are instead lies to cover up the money our federal tax system is designed to help take from the poor to give to the rich.
