Yeah, fair observations. No doubt the relative evolutionary phase of social media as a whole is different; that is, people have preconceptions about the need SoMe fills. In a way it's more considered/efined/nuanced but the expectation of immediacy can thwart meaningful evolution of a platform...

It's important to remember that MedTwitter itself took about 3-4 years to truly consolidate where a critical mass for either generalists and specialists.found each other. Many early adopters MedTwitter had come across from the Blogger community in 2009. Keep sending the invites & engaging 😊

My take is that idiopathic is a bio >> psycho = social framing, and that it holds a different currency/weight than other nomenclature for the unknown.

I found understanding Fabricated & Induced Illness as a spectrum a way to evoke greater compassion.

Particularly reflecting on that evolution from overstated to emulated to induced, initially without and later with volitional control.

It's some of the hardest medicine.
