ahh i gotcha, yeah no in southern ct we’re lucky to get pretty cheap seafood you can get directly from suppliers. last time i went out to a seafood restaurant in upstate ny my eyes bulged out of my head when i saw the prices in comparison to what we get at home lol

honestly you can get 40-50 cent oysters down in new haven near the oyster & clam boats. pretty cheap you’ve just gotta learn to shuck em and clean ‘em out yourself but pretty easy skill to pick up.
