A pair of grey nomads who retired at 50yo and started travelling Australia in a motorhome in Jan 2016, and we are still going. Living the dream.
Three weeks and one day since the full knee replacement and feeling pretty good. I should be right by four weeks and hoping I can drive then. Off to a campsite in the truck, if the doctor comes to the party. Thanks for everyone's thoughts and wishes.

New knee installation is coming along good. Today is 2.5 weeks since the operation and I had the dressing removed on Thursday. The wound had healed well but I am still getting a lot of pain. I was on Tapentadol for the first day out of hospital but dropped back to just 4 hourly panadol after 1/2

2/2 so he can eat it. I watched him fly in with it. They are so clever, Ravens or Crows. Up north I have seen them using sticks to extract food through grid covers on the top of bins.
Mystery solved.

The other day I found some white bread on the edge of the bird bath. I was quite astonished as to how it could have got there. The only plausible explanation I could think of was possibly a bird had put it there. Today I caught the culprit. Mr Raven coming to soak his stolen bread, so 1/2

My good friend Tok O'kane. We were instrumental in Tok attending Mundi Mundi. We told him about it and sold him on how fantastic it is and he decided to join us. We are so proud of you Tok and are very proud to call you our friend. Great work, mate.

Settling into recovery mode for the next two weeks. Won't be doing anything apart from the walk between the bedroom and the toilet. We are so lucky to have awesome friends like Kitty Marie, and we really appreciate everything she has done for us.

and have no pain. I have 85% feeling back from the block now, but still no unbearable pain.
As part of the orthopaedic recovery, they have you just stand up with a zimmer frame. I said I felt like I could walk. The nurses replied, not on the first day and not on our shift. We all laughed

The duplex at the front of the one I own at the back is up for sale. The people in there want to go travelling, so they are selling up. They bought it on 12 March 2019 for $280,000 and 7 years later are asking $749,000. That's a tidy little profit.

Awesome Halloween party with good friends last night. Thanks so much to Kitty Marie for organising it and to Adam for arranging the music and Halloween quiz. Kitty even had prizes for the winners, and everyone had a great night. Lots of fantastic costumes, and everyone went to

Took some photos of other curved ones. Came across this huge old gumtree that had come down some years ago. It would have been something to see, that crashing to the ground. Beautiful ride in glorious spring weather.
