Pinarello and INEOS signed for three more years (just a couple of days ago, officially). However Fausto P. mentioned that they will most likely have two teams next season and moving forward.

Could you clarify? Assumption was that the Top 3 teams would get invites to the whole WT calendar including GT

He will get his chances. Assuming Q36.5 can keep an automatic WT spot, their already extensive calendar will just expand. Should be plenty of races (1Week, short GC) for Gloag, Harper, and Dunbar. Howson and Donovan are good examples of how to balance own ambitions and support roles this year

..and Dunbar :)

Howson with Burgos 2024 vibes today though, wow

Insane fight the last 3k today

I think it is even less isn’t? First Cycling has Q36.5 just 180 points behind Cofidis. They had a bad Bretagne and again no points at Vuelta. Pidcock gets 130 for the 2nd, and Christen and Gonzales keep piling 60 p each sprinty stage
August 31, 2025 at 6:31 PM
As Cofidis, I would be scared of Q36.5 also in terms of the automatic Wild Card next season (if they relegate). Q36.5 collects points at Vuelta (Christen, Pidcock, González already over 100), while Cofidis seems to - once again - not perform at all. The margin is just short of 500 points or so..

I think this one would have been much better for Fabio Christen if anyone from Q36.5.

Great! Big fan of the team and your authentic approach to the sport. All the best to you

..and they will announce Gloag (from Visma), Quinten Hermans (Alpecin), and van Moer (Lotto) also soon. This is a really good squad in the making

Reading Benson’s summary from yesterday evening, Q36.5 will not only sign Gloag, Dunbar and Harper, but also Q.Hermans and Meurisse. Very solid indeed. With Donovan and Howson already, they have a full suite of anglo climbers. Giro D’Abruzzo 1-3 incoming ;). I wonder if DLCruz continues?

Will be tough to hold on.. 16km at 7%

He is back in the peloton (74km to go)

Looks like he is back in the bunch? Spotted him in the peleton at 74km to go

Verstehe Unzufriedenheit mit Pidcock’s Fahrstil, aber Q36.5 hat immerhin schon 5 Top 10, Donovan, Azparren und Showdown mehrmals in der Ausreißergruppe gewesen. Geht schlechter.

Xabier and Tom doing two GT’s this year..
May 5, 2025 at 12:22 PM

This article (from Jan) mentions Tom’s GC plan at the Vuelta. Don’t have anything specific on De La Cruz/Azparren, but they were at the Vuelta Presentation and De La Cruz gives an interview every 4 weeks to Marca mentioning that he wants to ride Vuelta again.

They promised that Pidcock will go for GC + will bring three Spanish Riders on top of that.
April 4, 2025 at 10:33 AM
Q36.5 has the advantage that they can start with a star (Pidcock) + at least three Spanish riders (Azparren, De la Cruz, Gonzalez) and a Spanish DS. They even have more Spanish riders on the team.. maybe exactly the right combination given the debates (local team vs star).
