Looking at these Numbers from statista.com it is clear that EU countries have to contribute considerably more to the war in Ukraine. As so often before Denmark punches above its weight. Embarrassing to countries like France and especially Italy

Studying history you know that this is a highway towards authoritarianism. When people are dissatisfied with their elected leaders they loose trust in the system and become inclined to look for a strong leader to fix the problem. Generations of politicians are responsible for this!

This is from the Denmark-US agreement signed after the US purchased US Virgin Islands in 1916. It is signed by then Secretary of State Lansing. So the question really is - besides threatening a close ally with military force will the US break the 1916 agreement?
