Entered a chess tournament at work, all three of my oppenents are Leads and I just won the first match!

Will always keep going back to it, but I just finished playing through each of the Grand Prix and Knockout Tours for Mario Kart World!
Hold a similar impression to most online, there are a few things like free roam that could be improved, but this is easily the best Mario Kart!

Finally got my new room sorted, was just staying at hotels for a couple weeks but just moved into the same place as last year!
IRL update, will be moving next Monday to continue work as a FQA games tester!!

With it being 4th May, was planning to watch Star Wars for the first time in years, but it wasn't on at the time, but Indiana Jones is on Netflix so I watched Raiders of the Lost Ark for the first time in years.
God I forgot what it was like to watch a genuinely good film!

So close to owning every single Fire Emblem game physically!
Think the only ones I don't own are the Japanese-only "The Binding Blade" for GBA and the new 3DS version of FE Warriors, and digitally I do own the Switch version of FE Warriors and FE: Three Houses.

Saw it was on Xbox Game Pass and so I've just tried out Balatro to do the Microsoft Reward 15-minute reward thing.
It's a rogue-like so you can't really "beat" it, and I haven't played enough to form an opinion, but this game does same so much polish for being developed by a single person!

Just pre-ordered the Nintendo Switch 2 wireless GameCube controller!
Because it's a lot of money, the Pro Controller 2 that I pre-ordered will be cancelled. While I do see myself using the Pro Controller more than the GameCube, the latter is only available to those with NSO.

Honestly, it plays better than I thought!
Genshin is online-only and they have a 4-player event going on right now, so it was a good way to stress test the connection. The video quality went down similar to how a YouTube video goes, but there wasn't any noticeable input delay!

Didn't want to buy one immediately because I live in rural England and don't have a PSN subscription, but the idea of playing a JRPG in bed is appealing...

I like playing D&D with a group I met in October, but will say I don't like how they openly talk about using ChatGPT to create their character illustrations...

Not a film critic by any means, but I really enjoyed it!
It was very literal and it didn't take itself too seriously with Black and Brooks' portrayals being almost unhinged, think it could've been better paced in-universe (everything happened in 24 hours) but yeah, glad I went!

Just finished Ace Attorney Investigations 2: Prosecutor's Gambit, and with that, I have completed every Ace Attorney game in the series.
Very bittersweet now that it's over, but since picking up the first Ace Attorney in Summer 2022, this has become one of my favourite series.

Started playing it on the Wii U back in 2016 or so, but after my sister got me a physical cartridge for Christmas 2022, I finally started and 100% completed The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past on an original SNES.
And, uh, yeah, this is one of the greatest games of all time!

Certainly was difficult but not as much as people made it out to be, but maybe I'm just jaded from getting the Platinum trophy for the Demon's Souls remake last year!

Felt great to play Ace Attorney again after bingeing through AA1-6 and TGAAC in 2022-23! Really enjoyed how the investigations felt more tangible, the story was a bit too "fan service"-y but looking forward to AAI2!!
