I am saddened by what is happening in the USA. I never would have thought in a million years I'd see this. When I had to renounce my citizenship back in 2017 (requirement of Dutch naturalisation), I was even a little bit emotional about it. I'm not anymore but I weep for my former countrymen.

I've been reading a book recently(not that this is out of the ordinary or anything.) It's written by Michael Lewis, who I appreciate. It gives me hope that the US still has people in public service. This is why doom isn't necessarily the American future. www.penguinrandomhouse.com/books/788713...
