Every year the arts council in our town (Northampton, MA) puts on a big outdoor show to raise money for local schools called Transformance. Area bands play short sets performing as other bands. This year's theme is non-u.s. bands. So my other band @thefawns.bsky.social is becoming Courtney Barnett.

They probably do it for clickbait but wouldn't it be a lot more relatable if they actually said the weight in, say, lbs or kgs instead of in rhino? Now I have to go out into the backyard and try to lift one of my rhinos. And they hate that.

Every time I have a sinus pressure headache, I now check this website. I’m three for three on the pressure rating of 9. It makes me feel vindicated in some kind of petty internal way.
(And yes I have checked it when I felt fine and the pressure rating was low numbers)

Slowdive did a nice tribute to Syd Barrett. A sparse version of Golden Hair followed by a long instrumental freak out with this ghostly projection staring at us all.
