I like bicycles, race cars and lots and lots of data.
I can only speak for myself, but the removal of busy work leaving me with the interesting thinking bits changed my work situation 10 times for the better. I hope to do the same for all the engineers at my employer. Ultimately we will do more with less resources.

I'm lucky enough that my last usage of commercial cad was more than 20 years ago, so I did not carry any baggage when learning FreeCAD. When playing with CadQuery, I came to the conclusion that creating anything complex would not be as productive as using a cad with a UI.

Also try FreeCAD www.freecad.org It is a proper cad system that can also be programmed using python, and if you really like CadQuery, there is an extension for that.

Take heart. I read a lot of the replies and the impression I have is that none of these people use AI in a productive setting. I would not touch the topic on this site as the technical users will likely not respond because of the hysteria and lack of insight you saw in your replies

The top one looks like Talladego (Nascar), although Talladega is about 2.7 miles long. Yes, it is quite boring for an F1 fan to see them going round and round.

Now I want a nice Hopgoblin IPA! The last time I was in the UK they still brewed at Wychwood. And I could occasionally find some bottles in Chicago, but no longer.
