A year, a month and a day ago, Athens. I met this Swedish guy in the residency house who spoke Ancient Greek fluently (but not a word of modern Greek 🤷🏼) and we had a coffee in front of the national archaeological museum. I staid back to draw this pentacle like sculpture.

In other news I’m thinking about trying ceramics again - anyone knows a nice course offer in Berlin? Mostly interested in sculpture.

As a reference I did this bust of MY OWN HEAD as a teenage emo (note the snakebites and the unnecessarily dramatic paint job) as a 17-18?Y old& am not against it??

Badeschiff, Berlin 2024. I’m absolutely obsessed with this place and have drawn it into multiple comics. It’s a “container swimming pool” built into the Spree 💦 that runs through the city, and is too contaminated to swim in. So we got our fake beach instead. I go as often as I can in the summer 😌

In the sea of Blau, central Berlin had voted almost 40% the shade of red I want to see :) Berlin mon Amour bleibt stabil ♥️

Featured is the view from having attempted to enter AlteNationalgallery last summer, but everyone and their moms was queuing to see paintings, so I sat down to draw instead.

March 2024, the Alps 🏔️😮🫶🏼 me and Kimmo Lust had our 2nd satellite expo for our queer horror comic at Fumetto🖤 in Lucerne. I ofc got krank af but one day managed to drag myself up to the nearest mountain and was thoroughly awed. What beauty!! I’d only traveled through mountains before. #notebook

Last years notebook is a tiny thing with somewhat seethrough paper. I was moving about quite a bit-this was at Sitges, Catalonia right after the traditional 1st Jan swim. The whole town goes together but we were pick me’s and went on our own.

No particular memory connected to this one - I spent so much time in trains the past year+ that I legit made myself a training program for a moving train 😆 gotta keep those weak comic artist muscles oiled somehow amirite.
