Playing devils advocate here, but what other solution is there for Ukraine but to accept the status quo? Without massive increase in support from US and EU, they won’t regain anything. And that support is not coming unfortunately.

But only China and the EU have enough leverage and market size to engage in a trade war and even they probably don’t have the appetite. Trumps gamble might just work out.
