Bad is relative.

It's only bad is you consider impartiality an important thing.

If you grade Politico on gargling MAGAGOP nuts no matter how crazy, they're doing a bang up job.

The obvious problem is that Trump and his odious envoy Hoekstra don't care about international law.

Hell, they barely care about US law.

But the wider point is 100% true. Trump/Hoekstra wants to eat cake and keep it, by meddling in Canada but crying foul on any reply.

It should also hopefully scare labour unions from taking explicit stances favouring one side of a foreign conflict over another., which could well be discriminatory for its members.

Call out Israel, but far too often this results in vilifying anyone of Jewish heritage.

No longer allowing ICE ads would be grand as well.

I eagerly wait for an appropriately acerbic British "eff you you stupid ponce" reply.

"Had" to get massages for evidence.

Everything else he did was for funzies though.

Give them a little more time and they will start saying that they would have won by overwhelmingly more if they tacked to the "centre"

Rest assured a new crop of lenders would emerge to fill the gap (and take their exorbitant cut).

It's reflective of the broader fed-prov problem.

Health care funding = fed, but delivery = prov

So if the provinces ruin the system they know they can blame the feds and the media and voters are too damned stupid to get the trick.

I like politicians and policies that care more about making things actually better than just what is electable (and tolerable by the avaricious monied class who pull strings in their benefit).

But thank you for completely revealing yourself as amoral.

And for the privilege of possibly avoiding a tax hike, they get to go somewhere where they will get worse services, education, culture, etc.

Good luck.

In theory, yes to #2, but the last thing I want to do at this point is feed in ANY of my personal identifying records to unfettered AI.

I do not trust the techbros asses to not turn this against me.

And unless @politico.com 's Dasha Burns is a flippin idiot, she should have asked immediately whether the Ukrainians and Europeans are in agreement with this.

People like Markwayne deserve to get ill.

I don't say it lightly.

But if you peddle shit like this, you deserve horrible illness to eat you from the inside.
November 19, 2025 at 2:18 PM
C'mon Charlie!

Would you and the NDP be so willing to accept Poilievre or Gallant if they suddenly started to do a self-serving BS tour after years of peddling RWNJ craziness?
November 19, 2025 at 2:16 PM
Still and always amazingly too high.
November 19, 2025 at 11:45 AM
Infinitely too high.

Mind you, so is Bernier's 1%.
