Perfect way to describe what I’m pulling from it. I’m still digesting it. The double sided, doppelgänger-like self sabotaging humans do. It felt like putting a magnifying glass with the sun shining through it on the human condition. I’m uncomfortably comfortable.

That’s a great point. For sci fi/fantasy audiobooks I cannot recommend Adrian Tchaikovsky’s @aptshadow.bsky.social own narration enough. His narration of his book Service Model blew me away.
