if u keep a journal, u might be able to feel out or get intuitive associations on what the dream is trying to tell u. sometimes its insightful sometimes its just silly but never anything too conclusive, its more like another way to explore urself

LOLLL u got dreams like my oomf, but yes what u said is accurate, the idea is that ur brain associates those memories with ur repressed/unconscious emotions intuitively or as an act of psychic balance, thats how u can find archetypal/symbolic meaning in it but each dream is also unique by itself

ig partly? freud came up with the theory originally but carl jung adjusted and expanded on it, the subject is qualitative in nature so i think both has its own importance. but particularly my current interest is in archetypes and symbols
