If you ever feel imposter syndrome or worry that you're not good enough at whatever wonderful thing you're doing, just ask yourself WWJD? What would Josh, that mediocre white guy at your office do? Would he call himself an artist? Would he charge a competitive rate for his work? Fuck yes he would!

Can I tell you how much I love this pastel jellyfish wallpaper pattern? These amazing vintage images are adapted from AG Mayer’s nature taxonomy book "Medusae of the World", published in 1910.

When I'm making a seamless pattern, I break up the design into 4 sections that can flip horizontally and vertically. It allows me to draw along the edges, creating that seamless look.

The best part about layered apps is being able to easily recolor my designs. I'm using procreate here, and it only takes a few minutes to make 5 or 6 color ways!
