NOAA and the US National Weather Services are of vital importance to people who may experience life-threatening weather (my brother in Hawaii, friends on the Gulf coast), firefighters, fisherfolk, skiers and so so so many more. Oregon’s economy runs on NOAA’s data. www.opb.org/article/2025...

Staying off the other apps today, but I needed to share: I saw a hammerhead shark’s head last night! COCC had it on display for a school’s STEM night. (I was there for work, but sometimes work is this cool!!!)

This is the way. Hey folks—NOAA is important to all of us. Call your elected officials and tell them so. Weather reporting, modeling, predicting. Important for hurricanes, fisherfolk, skiers, building code writers, EVERYONE.

I went skiing today, and there were two National Forest employees cleaning out the snow blocking the outhouse doors. I appreciate them and all our federal employees. Their treatment by this administration is detestable. Call your elected officials. Support USAID, NOAA, and all our federal employees.
