We acquired a third cat on Saturday. Leo is the orange cat on top. Picture taken this morning after they slept in our bed together for the first time.

As we had an appointment to adopt a new cat along with the second cat developing urinary crystals, we weren't able to participate in any other events yesterday. I can report the patient is doing better and is very happy to meet his new brother.

@jillserenity.bsky.social and I were both hungry for Jose Andrés' China Chilcano after Riki Lindhome's one woman show Dead Inside at Wooly Mammoth Theatre. We saw our favorite Senator leaving, so we dashed out to get a selfie. She urged us to "Stay in the fight", and we will.

The second cat is Oscar who we got 3 weeks ago from the critically full Baltimore County Animal Shelter. He’s about a year and a half. He’s a big clumsy boi who loves to play, will cuddle some but will soon raise a paw with claws out at unexpected times when petting him.

Tonight, Steven Page at The Hamilton. 5th time I've seen him solo, but first time I've seen him do his solo songs since he left BNL. Excellent work by his trio through his whole catalog, but I was especially psyched to hear "Shoe Box" for the first time since 1998.

I need to start documenting my concerts again now that I've pretty much left Facebook. First up Lucy Davis at The Anthem last Saturday. 2nd of two sold out shows for her, with a lovely set that continued the theme of the album cover. Katie Gavin (Muna) opened and was worth the price of admission.
