And yeah, prose is hard, I feel this entirely 😭 but like you said, the more you write and read, the easier that will feel over time. Just another creative muscle to build

Idk if it helps but I try to remind myself that the first draft is pretty much always going to be ass, but it'll get better when you shape it out.

It's like the sketching stage. You can see what it's eventually going to be, but it's gonna look rough before it looks better.

Could be fun to add some world building though! Like if them being vampires isn't a huge part of the narrative, what does that mean for the world they inhabit? Are they hiding it or is it common place? Answering that question even just with a light touch might make it feel a bit more purposeful

Idk I feel like sometimes it's fine for them to just be vampires and the narrative doesn't really need to delve into the why of it all. There's so many allegorical vampires and tragic monster queer coded stories, so we can just have some where it's just kinda hot too

Oh, and while I'm not sure if it's something you'd need in particular, but I got a blow dryer stand recently. Just a cheap tripod to hold my dryer so I don't need to keep my arms over my head while I sit on my stool and brush out my hair. Helps so much

Ugh, yeah. I'm not entirely sure if I have MCAS, but I get red/itchy from vibrations that I think is related, so it can be a lot to tolerate and the temp difference exacerbates it.

I've seen folks say they put a space heater in their bathroom and that helps, I'm tempted to find a tiny one.

Oof, yeah that's so felt. Showers are a sensory nightmare and make my skin so damn sensitive (and my pots hates it too, thank god for shower stools and sitz baths).

I'll admit I'm also pretty slow, lol. Combination of working on an ipad which isn't the most optimized way to work (but my chronic pain rejects the computer chair) and I'm probably a bit too detail oriented tbh. Still fun though!

Thank you! Yeah it's really just a one second loop, though the text sfx is a bit longer as it's about 3 seconds of basic text animation over 3 loops. Pretty simple but takes a lot of fiddling to keep it from feeling jittery for sure
