Makes me appreciate the micro interactions of twitter.

Like I can’t look at photos on this app - they take a long to load and it feels so jarring. Notifications and refreshing seem broken and inconsistent.

Feels like an app that’s been worked on for a long time should have more polish

It’s really challenging - once a social platform has network effects it feels really daunting to build out somewhere else.

I did not understand mastodon - way too hard to join

Oh I like “new post” - I like normal. If they were looking to add personality then I hope they hire it out and do it right
