I don't think they will be saving money right away. If you factor hiring new people to setup (servers, images, etc) and train those unfamiliar. Still a very large win for whatever European companies or agencies switch over. Very jealous.

The structure that allows the private sector to have so much success, does at the very least deserve some compensation for giving it a system to thrive in. If you take away the already small amount used to fund the essential services you end up causing businesses to fail with the society it siphons.

To be fair if you actively follow law and care about it, you would also be pretty frustrated with how it's being disregarded.
