We’re watching a shift where AI simulates the cohesion and reinforcement that used to require an entire online community. A single person can now build a complete parallel reality with nothing more than a prompt window. Which seems bad.

But inside you're furiously checking notes, forecasts, possible interpretations, and going "OK, what do we really know at this stage?". Precious little usually. But to admit it would be a loss of face

A certain type of Christian, particularly US evangelicals, have this demented picture of atheists as people without any normative or moral commitments, pure egotistical narcissists. This is a false picture of atheists, ovs.

I love that stories have so many generic placeholders in them (yer man, yer wan, the yoke) that there's an element of "pick your own" adventure in filling in the gaps. The huge creative range of collective nouns (of unspecified number) just adds to the overall mystery
