I always like show/blur/hide mature content settings but hot take, you should be prompted to choose those preferences when you set up an account, instead of having to jump through hoops to change them

oh lmao I totally did not notice the self-labeling options. I am kind of impressed at how fast it got moderated. not sure that's what I would've picked but it makes sense

(also admittedly the sirens and alarms that go off in my brain when I think about trying to talk to extended family in my broken ass mandarin reach a new fever pitch if I imagine millions of tiktokers possibly getting more fluent than me because of this)
