Ô Canada 🇨🇦 ! This end of the year signs the end of our Helmholtz AI x Mila PhD Travel Grant - a pilot. Thanks to all applicants, and congrats to the selected PhD students of our Helmholtz AI Associates who went to Mila - Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute in 2025: - Lukas Kinder from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) (Tobias Käfer) visiting Quentin Cappart in May/June, pushing on #NeurosymbolicReasoning and #LLMs - Chelsea John from Forschungszentrum Jülich (Andreas Herten and Stefan Kesselheim), visiting Xavier Bouthillier / Guillaume Rabusseau in Oct/Nov, chasing #NeuralOperators, #HPC_AI and #Benchmarking We are extremely eager to continue growing our relationship with Mila and develop further initiatives to do so along the way.
