I totally get it. We have a new dishwasher. The old one was so loud we had to go to a different room for a phone call, couldn't watch TV when it was running, etc.
This one merely WHISPERS at the loudest point in the cycle.
I must confess, I turn it on before it's full. Just to not hear it running...
